If there is no cup in the pocket at different position, for that pocket, filling, lid placing, Heat sealing will not function without stopping the machine.
No need to stop the machine for adjusting filling quantity, as it can be adjusted while machine is functioning.
Filling station will stop, if Liquid level in filling tank is low to prevent under filling after low level sensing cup cannot be sealed.
Mechanical safety facility to avoid any damage to the machine.
Machine panel shows the filled cups and machine working hour for maintenance purpose.
The machine base structure is of 100% S.S., which will protect the machine from water, steam & liquid of caustic soda.

Output per minute should be displayed
PLC should generate audible / visual error of more than 2 cups or lids are not released or placed on the machine, so it should also indicate that there are no cups / lids in the magazine.
It should be possible to sense the presence of cup without physical contact and using PLC memory.

| Other advantages of PLC should include |
Using PLC damage to cups if lids are not placed should be prevented.
It should be possible to avoid heat sealing operation if lids are placed on cups preventing the damage of filled cup otherwise wasted.
PLC should make machine user friendly and allow time setting ON/OFF of each function without opening the guards of the machine.
Any function can be manually made ON/OFF while machine is running. This is eminent while testing the machine during maintenance.
Using PLC operations of the machine should be easy and smooth.
Adding PLC in the machine control, it is required to use encoder, MMI (man machine interface display), regulated power supply, cup sensor, isolation transformer should be included in the offer.

Cup Release
Cups are release by vacuum in each track From the stack individual cup is released with the help of pneumatic cylinders and cup is sucked by vacuum sucker and pulled down and at certain position vacuum is released to allow cup to remain in the Al. collar. Vacuum stops for the particular collar in case of no cup. For other collars which are having cups, for these collars vacuum works.
Position Sensor
Our sensor is provided for each track to sense, if there is a cup in the pocket or not
and this information remains in the memory of the PLC to allow further functions.
In case cup is not in the collar no function like filling, foil placing, sealing, will take place in that pocket to avoid wastage of material.
Filling
Filling will be done by gravity to avoid bubble forming. Nozzle design is developed to avoid splashing. Filling quantity can be adjustable while machine is in working condition.
Foil Placing
Al. Pre cut embossed foils are placed in there is cup in that pocket.
While placing foil, it is also memorized by P.L.C. that foil is placed or not, so as to avoid heat sealing operation in that pocket. Foils are taken from the stand by vacuum and released on the cup by positive pressure. Vacuum is controlled by digital sensor
Heat Sealing
If cup and foil are present then only heat sealing function is done in that pocket.
Heaters are with digital controller to maintain correct temperature for sealing.
Ejecting Station
All cups are raised up and pushed out from the position to a small ball conveyor.
All lamellas are on SS chain conveyor will S.S. sprockets and self aligned bearing
Complete frame of the machine is made from SS rectangular tube of thick material and covered by SS guards all sides. Frame has SS ball feet for easy cleaning.
SS control panel is mounted with PLC programmer, display unit and fault indication bulb device. Display unit is having LCD screen and teach screen modification, selection and setting of all functions.
All On & Off switches for easy function, control voltage transformer, S.M.P.S., hot air exhaust has are fitted on panel having water tight cover.
All pneumatic solenoid valves, pneumatic air piping, connectors, control valves are fitted on the sides of closed box.
Main sense drives, gear box, are connected with main shaft for driving conveyor systems. |
